Terms & Conditions


To secure your wedding date, a completed enquiry form is required with a non-refundable booking fee of £100 due at the same time. The booking fee covers the reservation of the date and any administrative costs related to supplying Stephanie's services. This booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. It will be deducted from the outstanding balance and is not a pre-payment for trials. Trial costs are charged separately and are invoiced 7 days before the date of the trial with the payment due 24 hours before the trial takes place. A date cannot be held without payment of the booking fee and the requested date will still be open to other enquiries in the meantime.


​You will receive your final invoice 6 weeks before your wedding date, this will include the remaining wedding balance and any travel expenses which are payable directly to Stephanie by bank transfer. You have 14 days to pay the final invoice from the date of issue. Failure to make full payment will result in termination of the appointment.


A minimum booking total of £485 (excluding travel & accommodation expenses) applies to all weekend wedding bookings (FRIDAY/SATURDAY/SUNDAY and any bank holidays). This is equivalent to the bride + 3 wedding party makeups. If services are reduced to less than the minimum booking requirements, the full minimum amount will still be charged.

Once the booking has been confirmed and the booking fee has been paid to secure the booking, booked services and numbers may not be reduced. No amendments to the number of makeup services can be canceled unless you wish to increase the number of services, in that instance, you must notify Stephanie as soon as possible, as additional artists may need to be organised. Additional services must be paid for in full prior to the wedding day.


Cancellation prior to 6 weeks of your wedding date will result in no further monies being owed. Cancellation after this period will result in the remaining balance being due/withheld. In the unfortunate event that Stephanie is unable to attend on the day, due to illness or for last-minute, unforeseen circumstances, all efforts will be made to find an alternative artist. If this is not possible or is unacceptable to the client, Stephanie will fully refund any monies paid (excluding any money paid for work already carried out, such as trials and administration time).
Members of the bridal party who cancel on the day will not be refunded but can be transferred to another member of the bridal party to use the makeup session booked if required, if this is the case Stephanie must be notified of this upon arrival on the day.

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by Stephanie, and are non-refundable by the travel/accommodation provider(s) will incur full reimbursement from the Client to Stephanie for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.


A start and end time will be agreed upon by the client and Stephanie. The usual timeframe is approximately 50 mins per bridesmaid makeup and 60 mins per bride.


All persons involved in makeup appointments are required to be available at their scheduled time. All makeup services are to be undertaken at the same location and at consecutive times. Please ensure that all members of the wedding party are aware of the timings on the day. No refund or compensation can be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the wedding party arriving late to begin the service. Please ensure all members of the wedding party arrive makeup-free with cleansed skin.

At least one Additional Artist/Assistant will be needed for the following bookings, priced at £100.00 per assistant + any additional expenses such as travel/accommodation.

  • Where more than six adult makeup services are required.

  • Where the venue has access time restrictions.

  • Where the required makeup services are unable to be completed within a specific timeframe.


It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that Stephanie is informed of any allergies/sensitivities/skin conditions before any services are carried out. Stephanie cannot be held liable or responsible for any unknown or undeclared allergies. Clients with latex allergies who wish to have lashes applied should notify Stephanie of this at least one week before the appointment date. On the rare occasion that any of the bridal party have any contagious skin infections, Stephanie will refuse treatment. Skin conditions should be reported by the client to Stephanie prior to application. It is the client’s responsibility to provide a suitable working environment with a mirror, electricity points, table/workspace, adequate lighting, a chair, and handwashing facilities. This also applies to trials. Discounts will not be given on services should you wish to use your own products on the day. Stephanie also cannot be held liable for the performance and longevity of the product. Individual lash application is included in the price for the makeup service, there is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.


For trials and on the wedding day a fee will be charged for a road travel distance from BS5 9QA (round trip). The amount charged is currently 50p per mile. If parking fees or congestion charges are incurred, these fees will also be the responsibility of the client. Accommodation close to the wedding venue will be required for the night before the wedding if; journey time is over 2 hours one way, the start time is 6 am or earlier, or there are other foreseeable events/delays.


Travel expenses for services booked outside of the mainland UK for all team members are incurred as follows:

  • To/From a UK train station, airport or port where the team member(s) will be travelling from/to, including parking costs. If the journey to/from the train station, airport or port is with their own vehicle, 50p will be charged for every mile of road distance from the artist's home, and is based on the return journey.

  • Car hire, to include full excess insurance cover.

  • Return rail tickets, flights and/or boat tickets for all team member(s) booked from/to convenient train stations, airports and/or ports. Stephanie will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option. Must include any checked-in luggage fees to transport kit to and from the destination country.

  • All additional travel required at the destination related to provision of services at the event.


  • Additional accommodation expenses at the destination of the event may also be incurred however all accommodation expenses will be discussed and agreed with the Client during the booking process.

  • Accommodation should be at least a 3-star standard.

  • £30 will be charged for subsistence per team member, for every date hours spent away from home for a booking, this includes days travelling to and from the event.

  • If any Covid-19 tests are required these must be covered by the Client.

  • Stephanie will always endeavour to find the most cost-effective option.


If you require Stephanie to relocate or change venues with you during the period that Stephanie is booked for, this will incur relocation expenses which are charged at £25 for every 30 minutes. Any additional travel expenses will be added which is charged at a rate of 50p per mile for the return journey.


  • Trials are held during the week, between 9am and 5pm at Stephanie's home studio in Bristol. Bridal trials are allocated up to two hours for the appointment. If the client requires more time or requires another trial, this will be an additional cost and invoiced separately. 

  • Saturday and Sunday trials are priced at Stephanie's wedding day rate of £450, as these days are reserved for weddings. The trial invoice is payable to Stephanie 24 hours prior to the trial day and is non-refundable. Failure to make full payment will result in the termination of the appointment.

  • Please come alone to your appointment unless it has been previously agreed with Stephanie.

  • Wedding party members are also invited to have a makeup trial, wedding party trials are £50 and must be agreed upon in advance to ensure Stephanie can book out the additional time required. Additional trials usually take between 1 and 1.5 hours.

  • Please do not bring any children/babies to your appointment. This is for the child's own safety as the home studio is not a suitable environment. If you are unable to organise childcare please contact Stephanie to reschedule your trial.


Stephanie may photograph you at your trial and on your wedding day. The images may be used on, social media or within marketing for Stephanie Graham Vegan Makeup Artist. Please state if you would not like any photos to be taken or used for marketing purposes.


Stephanie is fully covered by public liability insurance to protect both herself and the client.


The client should inform Stephanie of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

Stephanie cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any know condition.


Stephanie reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior.


Clients and anyone receiving makeup services agree to release the artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.


Stephanie accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage or loss caused by the artist.


Stephanie strongly suggests the client has wedding insurance.


If your wedding is postponed due to COVID-19, either by your venue, or government guidelines, your makeup booking fee and monies paid so far will be transferrable to your new date subject to Stephanie's availability. Please inform Stephanie as early as possible of any postponements.


If the client decides to postpone their wedding unrelated to government guidelines and Stephanie is unavailable on the new date, the client will forfeit the monies paid.


In the event of a complete cancellation due to the government guidelines or Stephanie is unavailable on the new wedding date, the client will receive a full refund of any monies paid (excluding any money paid for work already carried out such as trials and administration time).

Stephanie reserves the right to not work with members of the bridal party who show symptoms of Covid-19, have traveled to affected areas requiring them to self-isolate, or who have had contact with symptomatic persons/persons who have traveled to affected areas or tested positive for Covid-19 (in last 14 days). No refunds will be given for on-the-day cancellations based on health concerns. The client is responsible for the bridal party taking reasonable care around hygiene practices on the wedding day.
