FAQ's
I'm based in Bristol and regularly travel throughout the South West and beyond, including Bath, South Wales, The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire.
I'm also available for destination weddings across the UK and internationally.
Travel costs are calculated based on your location and will be included in your personalised quote, so you'll know exactly what to expect from the outset.
If you're unsure whether I cover your area, simply get in touch and I'd be happy to help!
Absolutely! I love destination weddings and would be delighted to join you for your celebration abroad.
Planning a wedding overseas comes with enough logistics already, so I keep things as straightforward as possible. I'll organise all of my own travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transfers, car hire (if required) and kit transportation, so you have one less thing to think about.
I'll also create a detailed makeup schedule for the wedding morning to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
If you're planning a destination wedding, get in touch with your location, venue and wedding date, and I'd be happy to provide a bespoke quote.
Bridal makeup trials take place at my home studio in Bristol and typically last around 1.5 to 2 hours.
As weekends and bank holidays are reserved exclusively for weddings, trials are held on selected weekdays outside of peak wedding season (November to April). This gives us plenty of time to discuss your vision, refine the details and create a look that feels like the best version of you.
If you're getting married abroad and travelling to Bristol for a trial isn't practical, we can discuss alternative arrangements. In some cases, I can arrive a day or two before your wedding to carry out your consultation and trial at your destination.
Bridal makeup trials take place between November and April, as May to October is my busiest wedding season. Trial appointments are released two months in advance, and I'll send you a booking link when it's time to arrange yours.
A little preparation before your trial can make a big difference and help us get the most out of our time together.
If possible, wear a top in a similar colour and neckline to your wedding outfit, as this can help us visualise how your finished look will come together on the day.
I'd also love to see any makeup inspiration you've saved, along with photos of your dress, accessories, flowers or anything else that reflects the overall style and feel of your wedding. The more details you can share, the easier it is for me to create a look that feels cohesive, personal and authentically you.
Don't worry if you're not entirely sure what you want yet, that's exactly what the trial is for!
Due to the volume of bridal bookings I receive, I reserve trial appointments exclusively for brides and am unable to offer trials for the wider wedding party.
Before the wedding day, I encourage your bridal party to browse my website and Instagram to get a feel for my style and save any inspiration images they love. On the morning of the wedding, I'll carry out a consultation with each person before we begin, discussing their preferences, any concerns, and the look they'd like to achieve.
My aim is for everyone to feel comfortable, confident and like the best version of themselves, while ensuring their makeup complements the overall style of your wedding.
My goal is to make sure your wedding morning feels calm, organised and enjoyable from start to finish.
To keep everything running smoothly, I'll create a detailed makeup schedule for your morning and send this to you in advance. I'll also run through the timings with you at your trial so we're both clear on the plan for the day.
As a guide, I typically allow around 45 minutes per wedding party member and 75-90 minutes for the bride, depending on the final look and number of services booked.
All makeup services are scheduled to be finished at least one hour before you need to leave for your ceremony. This provides plenty of time to get dressed, enjoy any final touch-ups, and capture those special getting-ready photographs without feeling rushed.
Large bridal parties are absolutely no problem!
For smaller bookings, I can usually manage all makeup services myself. For larger wedding parties, or where timings are particularly tight, I'll bring one or more trusted assistant artists to ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone has a relaxed experience on the morning.
Additional artists may be required when:
• More than five adult makeup services are booked
• Your venue has access or timing restrictions
• The required services cannot comfortably be completed within the available timeframe
If additional artists are needed, I'll discuss this with you during the booking process and create a schedule that ensures everyone is ready on time without an early start or feeling rushed.
Yes. A minimum booking value of £700 applies to all wedding bookings (excluding travel and accommodation costs).
This typically includes bridal makeup on the wedding day, your bridal makeup trial, and makeup for two members of your wedding party.
If your chosen services fall below the minimum booking value, the minimum charge will still apply. This allows me to dedicate the time required for your wedding, including preparation, administration, trial appointment, schedule creation and exclusive reservation of your wedding date.
If you're unsure whether your booking meets the minimum requirement, please get in touch and I'd be happy to provide a personalised quote.
To secure your wedding date in my diary, a non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required.
Once this has been received, your date is officially reserved and no further enquiries will be taken for that day. The booking fee covers the reservation of your date along with the administrative work involved in planning and preparing your bridal makeup services.
This fee is deducted from your final balance, which is due 4 weeks before your wedding date. Please note, the booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Due to high demand, I’m unable to hold dates without a booking fee, so your date will remain available until this has been paid.
If you’d like to go ahead, you can secure your booking via the link included in your quote email.
I always recommend booking your wedding makeup as soon as you have your date confirmed, as I tend to book up well in advance, especially for peak wedding season (May to October).
Most brides secure their date 12-18 months ahead, but I do occasionally have availability for shorter lead times if your date is still free!
If you’re interested in booking, just get in touch via my contact form and I can let you know my availability and next steps.
Yes, absolutely. I’m fully insured with public liability insurance, which covers both myself and my clients during all makeup services.
If you need any further details for your venue or coordinator, just let me know and I’m happy to provide them.
Yes, my entire kit is 100% cruelty-free.
I only use products that are not tested on animals, and I also ensure they are not sold in regions where animal testing is required by law.
My commitment goes beyond makeup products themselves, my brushes and lashes are fully synthetic and vegan, and even the cleaning and sanitising products I use are cruelty-free too.
If you’d like recommendations or want to know more about any of the products I use, I’m always happy to share.
I use a curated selection of high-quality, cruelty-free brands that I trust to perform beautifully on the skin and last throughout the wedding day.
My kit includes a mix of luxury and pro-loved favourites such as Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Vieve, Refy, Patrick Ta, Danessa Myricks, Urban Decay, Glossier, Tarte, Huda Beauty, Fenty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, e.l.f., Beauty Pie and Lisa Eldridge, along with many other carefully selected products.
I’m always updating and refining my kit to make sure I’m using the very best products for different skin types, tones and bridal looks.
Yes, individual lashes are included with all makeup services.
I use high-quality synthetic individual lashes (never animal or human hair) and apply them to enhance your eye shape in a way that still feels soft and natural. I also use Duo lash glue, which is vegan and cruelty-free.
If you prefer not to wear lashes, that’s absolutely fine, just let me know on the day. Please note there is no price adjustment if lashes are declined.
I take skin sensitivities and allergies very seriously and always work with care to ensure your makeup is comfortable and suitable for your skin.
Before your trial, you’re welcome to let me know about any known allergies or products you react to so I can tailor your makeup accordingly. I also use a wide range of high-quality, cruelty-free products and can adapt my kit to suit most skin concerns.
If you have particularly sensitive skin or a history of reactions, we can always do a more cautious approach at your trial and adjust products where needed so you feel completely confident and comfortable for your wedding day.
I specialise in bridal makeup only, so I don’t offer hair styling services.
However, I work closely with a number of talented hair stylists and would be very happy to recommend someone whose style complements your vision perfectly. Just drop me an email and I’ll point you in the right direction.
My 2028 diary will open for bookings in January 2027.
I also run a waiting list for couples planning ahead for 2028. If you’d like to be added, simply complete the enquiry form and I’ll be in touch as soon as bookings open.
